Pamela Barco is the CEO, Lead Clinician, and Clinical Supervisor of our virtual Suboxone clinic. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and healthcare executive with over 17 years of clinical practice. Pamela combines 16 years of specialized expertise in treating substance use disorders with four years of executive leadership as a healthcare CEO. Her unique background allows her to expertly balance compassionate, meticulous patient care with rigorous industry standards in safety, compliance, and clinical excellence.

A Career Dedicated to Addiction Medicine & Recovery

Pamela has spent nearly two decades on the front lines of behavioral health and addiction medicine in Philadelphia. At the North Philadelphia Health System, she built and directed daily clinical operations for Suboxone therapy programs. There, she mastered evidence-based induction protocols, managed acute withdrawal symptoms, and directly guided over 100 patients through tailored relapse prevention strategies.

Her deep expertise spans the full continuum of care, including:

• Managing dual-diagnosis patients dealing with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders.

• Overseeing strict compliance with DEA, SAMHSA, and ASAM standards.

• Designing and implementing holistic, patient-centered care plans that foster long-term recovery.
